If you’re looking for a world-class theme park destination, look no further than Dubai Parks and Resorts. With four distinct theme parks, a water park, and a host of dining and shopping experiences, there’s something for everyone at Dubai Parks and Resorts. Here’s a quick guide to all that this incredible destination has to offer.

Motiongate Dubai

A Hollywood-inspired theme park where you can live out your cinematic fantasies with rides and experiences themed around blockbusters movies including The Smurfs, Shrek and Madagascar for the little ones and The Hunger Games and Ghostbusters for older children. The magical world of The Smurfs where fairy-tale mushroom-top houses capture your child’s imagination with friendly blue Smurfs awaiting at every corner. The village of the Smurfs offers 5 immersive attractions including interactive play zones, exciting family rides and a theatre show for all generations to enjoy.

Also home to DreamWorks, older kids can play the hero and save the day with 12 mind-blowing attractions. You can explore four unique lands based on the blockbuster classics Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, and Shrek – all entirely indoors! Experience roller coasters, thrilling family rides, multimedia theatre shows and interactive play zones that you and the family will never forget.

You also have Columbia pictures, Lionsgate and Studio central, all of which have numerous experiences and adventures for all the family to enjoy! This is one of the best family friendly attractions in Dubai without a doubt.

LEGOLAND Dubai

LEGOLAND is a dream come true for kids; personally, since having kids I am not a big fan of LEGO but with so many rides and things to do at LEGOLAND Dubai – it’s impossible to stay mad at those pieces that make your feet scream. The rides and activities here shouldn’t be missed while visiting this amazing family theme park. With over 40 LEGO themed rides, shows, building experiences and attractions, it’s the perfect day out for families with children aged up until about 12 years old. The LEGOLAND factory is the largest LEGO store in the Middle East and is where the family fun begins, from a LEGO Kingdom to a Lego Miniland, your little adults will be spoilt for choice. Dubai has the first-ever indoor LEGO Miniland, with an amazing 20 million LEGO bricks which feature Dubai’s iconic skyline and key landmarks from around the Middle East. Whilst here you can build a city on a ten-metre play table with LEGO bricks to allow them to recreate whatever they like.

Bollywood Parks

Home to the world’s tallest swing ride, amazing family-friendly rides and thrilling attractions alongside 4D Bollywood Experiences and live entertainment shows, Bollywood Parks is the place to be with your kids, family and friends. Being the first park of its kind in the world, you will be amazed by what you see and experience when you enter the Bollywood world here in Dubai. Head down Bollywood Boulevard to experience the many cultures from all corners of India which come together in an explosion of colours, music and dance styles. Once you have taken all of that in you can head down to Mumbai Chowk and dig into some of its famous food, shop and join the mafia boss Don on a chase through the streets. From visiting the Bollywood Film studios to the Royal Plaza head down to the Mela (fair) Junction. The newest zone of the park gives you a carnival vibe with its colourful and vibrant décor. Here you have family-friendly rides and can dine in restaurant Namaste which serves authentic Indian delicacies. A must see Dubai attraction.

LEGOLAND Waterpark

Once you are done with building your LEGO Skyline, you can head down to LEGOLAND waterpark and splash your way through another full day of LEGO-themed fun with 20 water slides and attractions created especially for families with kids aged 2-12. The only waterpark in Dubai designed specifically for kids, the LEGO waterpark is the one for you. You can take on the Joker Soaker or even build your own LEGO raft and float around the river after splashing in the safari or flip and slide. Just a side note, the waterpark is closed on Wednesdays throughout June.
